Sustainable by Design

Balancing a rich heritage with a future of innovation. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with many brands dedicated to innovation, prestige, digitalization, and sustainable principles.
Sustainability in particular has become a core priority. During my years of practice in luxury, the industry has long been criticized for the environmental impact of its production processes and consumption practices. Hence, increasingly more companies are including sustainability principles in their core strategies, making it a new paradigm of conceiving luxury by following ESG criteria (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and applying the concept of being “sustainable by design”.
I appreciate products and services that are created to comply with the principles of sustainability right from the initial stages of product design. According to this principle, products are designed using prevalently renewable resources and innovative raw materials, in a way to reduce their impact on the environment and with the aim to be reused or recycled efficiently, extending the product’s lifetime. Making products sustainable by design has the potential to mitigate climate change and enable a circular economy. The following are ESG indicators that I am committed to:

-
Increasing demand for sustainable products
-
Cleaner and more circular value chains
-
Promoting fair equal labor standards
-
Transparency and traceability
